Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach loss of 97 000 and an average audience lead of 16 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #4 with 1 729 000 (689 000). Britain’s Got Talent was #11 with 1 001 000 (287 000). A second episode of Britain’s Got Talent was #33 with 449 000 (190 000).

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 605 000 (1 062 000). Women’s State of Origin Rugby League – NSW v QLD 3rd – Pre Match was #8 with 1 234 000 (778 000) across 9 and 9Gem. Women’s State of Origin Rugby League – NSW v QLD 3rd – Match was #1 with 2 282 000 (1 074 000). Women’s State of Origin Rugby League – NSW v QLD 3rd – Post Match was #20 with 696 000 (416 000).

9News Late was #28 with 532 000 (247 000). The Equalizer was #47 with 355 000 (129 000).

  • Women’s State of Origin III was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People and all key demos in Sydney and Brisbane. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.282 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.074 million and a BVOD audience of 174,000 on 9Now – the highest ever BVOD Audience for a Women’s Rugby League match. 
  • The first ever 3 match Women’s State of Origin Series recorded a series average Total TV Audience of over 1 Million, up 67.8% year-on-year and a series average BVOD audience of 165,000, up 156.9% year-on-year.
  • 9News secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.066 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.260 millionup 20.9% on the same night last year. The BVOD audience of 98,000 was up 81.5% year-on-year. 
  • 9News was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People across the 5 City Metro and Melbourne, as well as the No. 1 news bulletin in Sydney and Brisbane. In Melbourne, the bulletin was 78,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor, Sydney was 69,000 ahead and Brisbane was 40,000 viewers ahead. 
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.605 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.062 million up 18.1% year-on-year. Its BVOD audience of 90,000 on 9Now was up a massive 95.7% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.442 million and a Total TV National Audience of 758,000. Yesterday’s national audience lifted the timeslot by 51.3% when compared to the corresponding day last year.
  • Today secured a National Total TV Reach of 897,000 and was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People and all key demos across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Its BVOD audience was 39,000 up 44.4% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.

9Now was Australia’s No.1 CFTA BVOD platform, recording shares in excess of 46% with Total People and all key demos.
