Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 147 000 and an average audience lead of 134 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 333 000 (711 000). Britain’s Got Talent was #11 with 945 000 (334 000). A second new episode of Britain’s Got Talent was #30 with 550 000 (243 000).

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 444 000 (1 020 000). Thursday Night NRL Live – Pre Match was #18 with 790 000 (453 000) across 9 and 9Gem. Thursday Night NRL Live was #4 with 1 424 000 (628 000) across 9 and 9Gem. Thursday Night NRL Live – Post Match was #32 with 541 000 (201 000) across 9 and 9Gem. 2024 Wimbledon Day 4 – Night was #8 with 1 176 000 (365 000).

  • 9News was Australia’s No. 1 program with the key demo of People 25-54. It was the No. 1 program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.892 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.161 million (up 8.0% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 95,000 was up 75.6% year-on-year.
  • Thursday Night NRL Live was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 16-39 and dominated its timeslot across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.424 million, a Total TV National Audience of 628,000 and a BVOD audience of 76,000 up a massive 91.1% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and 5 City Metro, plus the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.444 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.020 million – up 16.3% on the same night last year. It secured a BVOD audience of 79,000 – up 67.6% year-on-year. 
  • Tipping Point was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.418 million and a Total TV National Audience of 761,000 lifting 52.3% in its timeslot when compared to the same day last year.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 805,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 318,000 – up 2.1% on the same morning last year. Its BVOD audience was 36,000 – up 46.3% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People. 

9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform across Australia with all key demos and Total People

The Project was up 17% week-on-week, Deal Or No Deal up 12% and 10 News First was up 4%.

With 7 day numbers, Taskmaster (Thursday, 27 June) reached 1.07 million total viewers. It was the #2 show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s. Underground: The Julian Assange Story reached 698,000 total viewers.
