The biggest sporting showdown on the planet arrives on Monday February 12 when the defending Super Bowl champion, Kansas City Chiefs collide with the San Francisco 49ers for the Vince Lombardi Trophy –  and before we get to the main course, ESPN will provide a smorgasbord of NFL programming from the entertainment capital of the world.

ESPN viewers will experience unmatched access to the showcase event with the game being called exclusively for Australian and New Zealand audiences by ESPN’s Chris Fowler, Dan Orlovsky and Louis Riddick inside Allegiant Stadium.

ESPN SportsCenter host Phil Murphy and Australian sports star and media personality Nick Riewoldt will bring Australian and New Zealand sports fans expanded Super Bowl LVIII coverage including in-depth features, live reports and a nightly NFL Blitz program that will highlight all the color and excitement from Las Vegas.

Riewoldt will be part of a number of special reports and features during the week for ESPN around the site of Super Bowl LVIII, having also joined ESPN for the 2024 Pro Bowl earlier this week.

The team of Murphy and Riewoldt will host NFL Blitz programs from Friday-Monday, bringing fans all the latest news from the Super Bowl LVIII host city. The pair will be joined on NFL Blitz by ESPN NFL experts Dan Orlovsky, Louis Riddick and Ryan Clark.

ESPN’s Las Vegas presence will be felt throughout Super Bowl Week and further amplified when First Take, NFL Live, and SportsCenter broadcast live from the Las Vegas Strip and The Pat McAfee Show takes up residence on Radio Row.

This ensures the ideal lead-up to Super Bowl LVIII itself with Super Bowl day coverage beginning from 9am AEDT live on ESPN, Monday February 12.
