Lucky Hank on Stan – The first episode from the brand new season of Lucky Hank, starring Emmy® Nominated Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) and Mireille Enos (Hanna, The Killing) is now streaming, only on Stan.
Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book Straight Man by author Richard Russo and executive produced by showrunners Paul Lieberstein (The Office) and Aaron Zelman (Damages) along with Mark Johnson (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad), Lucky Hank is a show that truly stands out on its own with its sharp, social commentary while offering some hilarious and unforgettable moments.
Lucky Hank is a mid-life crisis tale set at Railton College, told in the first person by William Henry “Hank” Devereaux, Jr. played by Bob Odenkirk, the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in a working-class American town. Hank’s discontent is rooted in unresolved issues with his father, a mediocre and entitled student body, and in the fact that his department is more savagely divided than the Balkans. Mireille Enos stars as Lily Devereaux, the emotionally grounded, unflappable wife of Hank and the Vice Principal of the local high school in rural Pennsylvania where they live. As Hank’s life starts to unravel, Lily begins to question the path she’s on and the choices she’s made.
Expect breakout performances from the stellar ensemble starring Olivia Scott Welch (Panic, Marvel’s Agent Carter), Suzanne Cryer (Silicon Valley) Diedrich Bader (Miss Congeniality), Sara Amini (Find Me), Cedric Yarbrough (Reno 911, Bones) and guest stars Oscar Nuñez (The Office), Tom Bower (Crazy Heart), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) and Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley).
Aaron Zelman (Damages, Law & Order, Criminal Minds) and Paul Lieberstein (The Office, Space Force, The Newsroom) serve as co-showrunners as well as executive producers. Bob Odenkirk will executive produce in addition to starring, alongside his wife, Naomi Odenkirk. Peter Farrelly (Green Book, The Greatest Beer Run Ever) is onboard to direct and executive produce. Pulitzer Prize winning author Richard Russo, Mark Johnson (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad), and Marc Provissiero (Nobody) will also executive produce.
The first episode of the brand new season of Lucky Hank is now streaming, with new episodes Monday, only on Stan.
