JOHANNA + PETE – AMAZING HOMES: SMALL SPACE BIG IDEAS
The Aussie dream used to be a quarter-acre block, but with houses in short supply, higher-density inner-city living done well is now all important. Johanna and Pete explore a home that from the street, appears to be an unassuming four and a half metre wide terrace house. But a comprehensive internal renovation featuring a clever courtyard, a rooftop garden and dramatic indoor plants, means it now feels vast. This truly is a great lesson in how to turn limitations into impressive features.
ADAM + CHARLIE – CLEVER REJUVENATING TIPS FOR THE FRONT OF YOUR HOME
Federation houses are packed with charm and character, but Adam and Charlie have found one that needs a little TLC. While Adam works on the front of the house itself, fixing the deck, reinstating timber features and giving it a freshen up, Charlie focuses on making the garden work better. Without a large budget, they’ll return this cute heritage cottage back to its former glory.
KAREN – TURKISH PIZZA, THE EASY WAY
Street Food is popular around the world because it’s made quickly, is easy to eat and is packed full of flavour. Karen’s Turkish Pizza is no different. Using pita bread and a bunch of store-bought ingredients means this dish is simple and fast. The only prep you need to do is spicing the meat, but it’s really about how you put it all together. While street food is designed to be eaten on the go this dish is so good, you’ll want to sit down and enjoy every bite.
